SON OF THUNDER (2) is back after a break of nine months. At the last run before the layoff he finished fifth over 1m1/2f at Del Mar (Turf). Opened last prep with a minor placing at Turfway Park over 6f. Looks the one to beat. DRIVE TRAIN (1) is returning from a lay-off of six-and-a-half months. Finished sixth at Horseshoe Indianapolis (Dirt) over 5½f at the first run last prep. Now with a new trainer Justin R Evans. Worth serious consideration. KING ZOG (6) made progress last time out, finishing 2.25 lengths from the winner in second at the end of 6f at this track after being prominent at the corner. Nicely placed to find winning ways. MY CAIRO KID (5) is a three-start maiden who resumed from a lay-off last start and was beaten 0.6 lengths when fourth over 5½f at this track (Dirt). Should park just off the speed. Not to be discounted.
