ADMIRAL HALSEY (3) failed to figure again last time over 1m at this track (Dirt), beaten 9 lengths into fifth. Has good early toe so he should be handy in the run. Will give a great sight. CHIEFS BLANKET (9) is close to breaking through after finishing third last start over 6½f at this track (Dirt) when he was prominent throughout. Meeting a deeper field this time but he good enough to play a major role. SIR PISTOLERO (2) is a four-year-old entire who is having his first run for the Peter Miller barn. Hasn't raced since finishing sixth at Santa Anita (Turf) 15 months ago. Not seen at the trials but looks well placed. Bold showing expected. ICE STORM (6) missed the placings two runs back then did well last start but found one better over 6f at this track, beaten only 1.75 lengths. This looks a good race for him so another forward showing looks likely.
