ROAD OF LOVE (5) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start when he settled well back over 1m at Santa Anita, beaten 11 lengths into sixth. Finds a nice race and can get the job done. VENOM (4) met with solid support last time out but could only manage to finish fifth over 1m at Golden Gate Fields (Synthetic) in a disappointing performance. Needs to be at his best to beat this field but he deserves another chance. MALMO (1) has been out of the winner's list for a long time, last start finishing sixth at this track (Turf) over 1m. Finds the right race this time and can get the job done. PARS AND BIRDIES (2) comes here following a win over 6½f at this track four weeks ago, getting home by 1.3 lengths. Profiles to run well.
