BRANDYN (4) resumes after a break of 14 months. Looking to emulate his debut win over 5½f at Century Mile to kick off last prep. Key runner while fresh. CLEAR THE COAST (6) progressed nicely last time out to finish just 1.5 lengths from the winner in third over 1m at this track after being in contention on the bend. Taking on a better line-up this time but he has the ability to mix it with them. STREET HUMOR (3) has been out of the winner's list for a long time, last start finishing ninth at Santa Anita (Turf) over 6½f. Has the ability to produce a better result. LITTLE J P (5) has a moderate winning strike-rate but did a good job when returning from a break last time at this track (Dirt), finishing second and only a nose from the winner at the end of 4½f. Best figures measure up. Set to run well again.
