NAMARA (3) did a good job last start to finish third at Tamworth over 6f, beaten one length. Cherry-ripe now. No excuses from this draw in the mix. HELIOPHILE (5) missed the placings two runs back then was never in contention last start when 8 lengths away in ninth over 5½f at Port Macquarie. Has the class to figure prominently. SAVANNA GOLDEN BOY (11) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1m at Wyong, beaten 4 lengths into fourth. Best efforts measure up so worth another chance.
