Sure to have improved over the break and looks well placed to be in the finish again. CARAFE (4) turned in a nice run when fresh from a lay-off two starts back at Port Macquarie then missed the placings last time when 4. 5 lengths from the winner in seventh over 5f at Nowra. Rates highly and is right in the mix. STARWARD (3) is backing up five days after he was safely held in fifth over 5f at Taree against better opposition.
