CHEVAL GRIS (7) is still a maiden after nine starts. Could only manage to finish tenth last time out over 1m1 1/2f at Canterbury following a minor placing at Canberra over 1m the run prior. Finds a nice race and this might be her day. FINCA (12) was unplaced on debut then last start finished second over 7½f at Port Macquarie after being in contention on the bend. Best figures measure up. Sure to run well. MORE THAN BUBBLES (13) started at big odds on debut last start when sixth, beaten 3.5 lengths, over 7f at Canberra. Must be included among the main hopes. CUNNING KITTY (8) was unplaced two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 6½f at Newcastle, beaten 10 lengths into tenth. Better than recent efforts suggest.
