VIERATA (1) showed good early speed last start on debut and fought on well to hold second, beaten half a length, over 5f at this track. Should improve sharply and this looks a nice race. HEART OF VIENNA (3) finished fourth on debut then improved last start but found a couple better over 6f at this track, beaten a head after being prominent at the bend. Nicely placed to feature in the finish. MONDAY CLOSE (2) went forward last time and looked a chance on the corner but tired to finish fourth over 6¼f at Cairns. Among the chances in what looks a nice race for him. OSTUNI (8) was in the firing line on the corner and finished second last time over 4¾f at Cairns, beaten 6 lengths. Placed to advantage and can take this out.
