ROCK THE SUNRISE (4) finished 3. 5 lengths from the winner in fourth last start after being prominent at the bend over 7f at this track, an improvement on his sixth at Doomben the run before. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot find winning ways. LONE FORCE (3) led to the turn over 7f at Beaudesert last time out but faded to finish seventh. Should park just off the speed. Best form puts him right in this. TURN ME ROYALE (8) drifted well back and failed to finish it off last start when 13th, beaten 10 lengths, over 1m1f at Mackay. Finds an easier assignment and can take this out. BLACKTHORN (11) returns from a lay-off of five months and did score when resuming when last in work at Muswellbrook over 7¼f. Lines up for the first time for the Fred Wieland stable. Placed in a recent trial.
