SHE'S A BEAUTY (1) turned in a eye-catching run over 5f at this track last start when she got back but wound up hard to finish a close third. Sure to prove tough to beat. AMBER AFFAIR (11) has been in the betting recently but has failed to live up to market expectations. Most recently finished fourth over 5f at this track, beaten a neck. Among the leading chances on her best figures. ZEMOREYA (5) did little and finished 11 lengths from the winner in ninth over 5½f at Mackay last start, a less impressive effort than his sixth at Beaudesert the run before. Likely improver with strong prospects. ROYAL EDITION (6) is returning from a lay-off of nine weeks. Finished sixth at Toowoomba over 6f at the first run last prep. Now with a new trainer Nathan Coves. Fitter for a fifth in a recent trial over 4¼f at Townsville.
