BURLINGTON ARCADE (1) has put together a couple of wins at this track, the latest on February 27 over 6f when he got home by one length. Nicely placed to give this a mighty shake. CAROHVIC (7) ran below his best last start when beaten 4 lengths into seventh from a wide draw over this course and distance. Blinkers added so the stable might have him peaking. STANDARD GLADIATOR (6) scored his maiden win here last time out over this trip, getting the decision by 0. 6 lengths. Is lightly raced and has plenty of scope for improvement. Looks well placed and he is one of the main chances. NOTTINGTON PRINCE (2) is returning from a lay-off of three months. Finished tenth at Eagle Farm over 7f at the first run last prep. Now with a new trainer Joanna Hassett. Will be forward for this after a recent trial win at Townsville.
