VALUBIOUS (13) turned in a modest performance when third last time out over 7f at this track, beaten 3. 5 lengths after being in the firing line on the corner. That followed a win at this track at the previous outing. Finds a suitable race and can play a major role. CHANCE (14) ran above expectations and got up for second at big odds at his latest appearance at this track over 7f. Good signs last time and cannot be dismissed. IT'S BEEN A TREK (4) was a real eye-catcher last start, coming from the tail over 1m1 1/2f at Cairns to finish a nose from the winner in third. Comes here in the right frame of mind so he looks sure to be competitive.
