ACCLIMATISE (3) saluted at this track two runs ago. Not disgraced last time out when prominent at the turn before finishing second over 1m at this track, beaten 2.75 lengths. Finds a suitable race and can return to winning ways. OUR TURN NOW (7) built on a nice second two starts back at Rockhampton with a win as favourite over 7¾f at Mackay two weeks ago, getting home by 0.7 lengths. Leah Martyn scored on him last time and retains the mount. Has his share of talent. Hard to beat in this suitable race. STRATHCONA (1) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 7½f at Cairns, beaten 3 lengths into fourth. Is yet to be beaten in two starts at this course and distance. Meeting a tougher field but on his best form he is right in contention. FROM THIS MOMENT (6) returned from a lay-off eight days ago when she was beaten 4 lengths into fourth over 6f at Mackay. Fitter so expect a better run this time.
