Hard to beat despite the layoff. LOOMING ONE (4) saluted at this track two runs ago. Not disgraced last time out when second over 6¼f at Cairns, beaten 2 lengths after doing his best work late. Has raced six times here and has never missed the frame. Best figures measure up. Sure to run well. GABBY'S READY (11) recorded her first win last start over 5f at this track, getting home by one length. Wanderson D'avila was in the saddle on that occasion and retains the mount. Tougher assignment this time but is one of the main contenders. BUBBLES'N'FROTH (6) ran well below his best last time over 7f at this track, beaten 4.5 lengths into fifth at 3/1. Can figure prominently.
