LOOMING ONE (7) doesn't boast the best winning strike rate but ran a nice race last time out, finishing second and beaten only 2 lengths over 6¼f at Cairns when he made late ground. Yet to miss the placings from six starts at this circuit. Best figures measure up. Sure to run well. CONVERTOR (8) was responsible for a solid effort last time out when second at this track over 1m, beaten a long neck. Denicious Smith stays on and although yet to win has been in the money on four occasions. Sure to be competitive. KIDSTON (4) ran a better race last start to finish a close third over 7f at this track after missing the placings at the previous appearance. Another forward showing is anticipated.
