RELEASE LE MISSILE (7) turned in an eye-catching run over 7¾f at Mackay last time, ridden back before coming home with a powerful run to finish third. Has a win and three minor placings at this journey from five starts and should be hard to stop. STRATHCONA (3) sat on the pace and stuck on well to score by half a length at this track and distance last start in a far better run. Jackson Murphy gets the best out of this six-year-old gelding. Suitably placed so anticipating another big run. OLYMPIC KORCHNOI (6) settled well back last start and never threatened when 7 lengths from the winner in fourth over 6f at Mareeba. This looks a sterner test than last time but on his best form he is one of the chief contenders. CASTILE (2) hit the line nicely last time to grab third, beaten 2 lengths, over this journey at this track. Record at this journey is strong with three wins from 10 runs and cannot be taken lightly.
