MR METRICS (2) went forward and gave a great sight before finishing third last time out over 1m at this track. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot salute. JOE'S GIGGLE (3) could only manage 11th two runs back then improved last start but found one better over 1m at this track, beaten only 1.1 lengths after being prominent at the bend. Finds a suitable race and can play a major role. STRATHCONA (1) made it back-to-back wins when successful last start over 7½f at Cairns, getting home by 1.4 lengths. Winning rider Jackson Murphy retains the mount. Must raise the bar but another win is not out of the question. FANG IT (4) made progress last time out, finishing 2.75 lengths from the winner in third at the end of 7f at this track. Another forward showing is anticipated.
