MOKTAFFY (5) showed good early dash and stalked the pace last start before drawing clear to score by 0.9 lengths over 7f76yards at Bowen. Looks the testing material again. GULF OF LION (1) was below his best form last time when 5.5 lengths back in ninth over 7f at Cairns. Nathan Day has a solid record aboard this five-year-old gelding so sharp improvement will not surprise. CALL ME MO (4) has progressed nicely in his last couple of runs. Finished third at Cairns two starts back then scored by a nose last time out over 6f at Atherton. Tyler Leslight scored on him last time and retains the ride. It doesn't get any easier but on current form he is one of the key runners. FRESH PRINCE (7) was below his best last time when seventh over 7¾f at Mackay, beaten 5 lengths. Likely improver with top-three prospects.
