SIMPLE WAY (2) fought on well to finish second last start over 6f at Mackay, beaten 1.3 lengths. Best figures measure up. Sure to run well. JUST LIKE ROSIE (8) is a maiden galloper resuming from a lay-off after finishing 11th over 6½f at Mackay at the latest appearance on December 16. Filled a minor placing in a recent Rockhampton trial. Key runner. WANDERLEI (5) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 7f at this track, beaten 3.5 lengths into fifth. Suitably placed so anticipating a big run this time. KATA KAPI (9) raced on the speed last time but couldn't finish the race off and clocked-in fourth over 6f87yards at Canberra Acton. This looks a nice race so expect her to finish closer.
