RUBAAHY (9) finished out of the money two starts back then was beaten 5 lengths when fifth in a 6½f contest at this track a week ago. Nicely placed to get the prize. STARVECCHIO (10) will appreciate the longer journey after finishing a solid fifth when resuming last start over 5f at Sunshine Coast. Likely improver. UPSTART LOVER (1) got well back over 6½f at this track last time and never threatened, eventually finishing 4. 5 lengths away in sixth. Nicely placed to make amends. TAYLOR'S RAGE (6) finished 4 lengths back in fifth over 5½f at Warwick last time out after a gutsy win two runs back. Will find this a little tougher but cannot be underestimated.
