LIFE OF TREE (9) is coming off a last-start fifth, beaten 3. 5 lengths, over 5½f at Gold Coast. Nicely placed and expected to go well. KNOWITALL FRANK (2) was always forward and boxed on to finish fourth over 7f at Goondiwindi last time. Meets a tougher line-up this time but is capable of featuring. BROOKLYN DAISY (4) is usually thereabouts but finds it hard to win, with just two wins from 20 starts. Again tasted defeat last start when eighth over 7f at Rockhampton, beaten 8 lengths. Tackling a more suitable race this time so she is sure to be prominent. ANYWAY YOU WANT IT (6) returned from a lay-off three weeks ago when he was beaten 2. 5 lengths into sixth over 6f at this track. Fitter so expect a better run this time.
