BLANTONS RUN (9) will find this easier than last start when she finished seventh over 7f at Gold Coast, that effort following on from a minor placing two starts ago at this track. Can do much better in this more suitable race. FIGHTING IDOL (6) settled back but wound up late to finish fifth when resuming last start over 5f at Sunshine Coast. Usually performs well with that run under his belt. Backmarker who keeps coming. One of the leading chances. BEAU WITNESS (1) disappointed last time when fifth over 6½f at this track after a close third at this track the run prior. Goes well at this shorter journey so should be competitive. REVALENE (4) hit the frame two starts ago at this track but ran below par last time when tenth and beaten 5. 5 lengths over 5f at Sunshine Coast. Has his share of talent and can do a lot better.
