MAGRITTE (9) ran a strong second over 5½f at Doomben two runs back then was below her best last time over 6f when 11th, beaten 8 lengths. Looks better placed over this shorter trip so worth another chance. FINAL CRUSADE (2) has started twice, running a good second on debut then finishing tenth, beaten 5 lengths, last time over 6f in the QTIS JEWEL (2yo) at Gold Coast. Better than the last effort and deserves another chance. PIXIE LANE (10) is yet to break through in three runs. Finished fifth at her last appearance over 4f at Ipswich on April 23 after she was well back on straightening. Looks to be in the right race to play a big role. O'REILLYS FLIGHT (5) ended up 6 lengths behind the winner in eighth on debut last start over 5½f at Doomben. Plenty of scope for improvement. Expected to do more.
