MISS LEANA (11) ran below expectations last time after being in the firing line on the bend at Ipswich, finishing ninth and beaten 6 lengths starting at 13/2. Ideally placed and is sure to play a pivotal role. BEEN A SECRET (2) took advantage of the good draw last start and was in the firing line for much of the way before being swamped in the run home, finishing ninth and beaten 17 lengths over 6¾f at Ipswich. Well placed and will take some running down. OCEAN JOY (7) was last at the races when she finished third over 5f at Taree on December 1. Has switched to the Lynda Powell stable. Definite top-three chance. BUTT HEADS (3) returns from a short break after a minor placing over 6½f at this track six weeks ago. Fitness levels maintained by a recent Toowoomba Inner Track trial placing. Likely to be thereabouts.
