ATTACK FORCE (1) wound up strongly last time out to finish a long neck adrift in third over 6f at Kilcoy. Will drift back but wind up late. Will be tough to hold out. STRAIGHT BLAST (8) is a locally trained maiden galloper resuming. After a lay-off of five months. Closed last campaign with a seventh over 6f at Rockhampton, beaten 7 lengths. Fitter for two trials, placing most recently. Likely to be in the finish. LIFT'N'MEHIGHER (12) is a three-start maiden who returned last time and finished eighth at Ipswich over 6f, beaten 6 lengths. Should progress from that last outing and poses a genuine threat. HIDEYOSHI (2) is back after a break of seven months. At the last run before the layoff he finished tenth over 1m1/2f at Ipswich. Tuned up with a sixth in a recent trial at Sunshine Coast Inner Track. Rates highly on best form and a bright return wouldn't surprise.
