CALYX ROSE (7) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 7f at Gold Coast, beaten 2.2.5 lengths into sixth after being in contention on the corner. Will enjoy a drop in class so she can find the winners' list. IRAMA (3) came home strongly last start to finish third, beaten a neck, over 7¾f at Mackay. Among the leading chances. AMENOPHIS (4) has a moderate winning strike-rate but performed well last time at Warwick, finishing third and only a long neck from the winner at the end of 7½f. Best figures measure up. Sure to run well. FLYING CELICA (9) settled towards the tail then wound up strongly to finish 2.5 lengths away in third when resuming last start over 6f at Warwick. Solid top-three prospects.
