FUTURE SOLDIER (6) missed the placings two runs back then did well last start but found a couple better over 5f at this track, beaten only 1.75 lengths after being in the firing line on the corner. Finds a suitable race and can find the winner's circle. ANXO (3) showed good early speed and raced on the pace when when resuming after a lay-off last start before fading to finish fourth, beaten 2 lengths, over 5f at Dalby. Will go forward and is expected to be in the finish. LUCKY ARTIE (7) is a five-year-old gelding who is having his first run for the Melissa Kelly barn and gelded since last run. Finished off last campaign with a ninth at Sha Tin eight months ago. Will strip fitter for a trial win and is in a nice race. Expected to be in the finish. ITALIAN GIRL (11) is a two-start maiden who finished sixth, beaten 5 lengths, when resuming from a lay-off last start over 6f at this track. Definite top-three hope with plenty of improvement to come.
