CHAMPAGNE TOWER (13) finished third at Ipswich two runs back but didn't measure up last time over 6f at Ipswich, finishing 5.5 lengths back in eighth. Has the ability to return to form. HIGHLAND SAPPHIRE (11) is a four-year-old mare who is having her first run for the Corey & Kylie Geran barn. Finished off last campaign with a 12th at Warrnambool four months ago. Fitter for placing in a Gatton trial and looks nicely placed. Should feature in the finish. MALBEC MAN (1) resumed from a lay-off last start with a sound third over 5½f at this track. Suitably placed to crack the maiden win. LADY LAZARUS (14) went back early from her wide draw over 6¾f at Ipswich last time but hit the line strongly to finish fifth. Solid top-three hope.
