CORVALIST (1) showed good early dash when resuming last start and held on well to finish 1.5 lengths back in third over 5f at Sunshine Coast. Ideally placed and is sure to give this a mighty shake. WISE CHOICE (12) turned in a sound effort last time but found one better at Rockhampton over 5¼f, beaten a nose. That run should have her rock-hard fit now. Will find this assignment a little tougher but should be in the finish. KOOL BRUCE (7) could only manage ninth two runs back then improved last start but found a couple better over 6¾f at Warwick, beaten 3 lengths after being in contention on the bend. Needs to be at his best to beat this field but he is good enough to play a major role. SHE'S GOT GRACE (13) is back after a break of eight months. At the last run before the layoff she finished ninth over 6f at this track. Can kick off with a bold showing.
