NEVER GIVE UP (4) missed the placings two runs back then was never in contention last start when 7 lengths away in sixth over 6½f at this track. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot find winning ways. SUKHBIR (10) was in the money two starts back at Beaudesert but was unable to repeat the effort last time when tenth, beaten 8 lengths, at Coffs Harbour over 7f after being in the firing line on the corner. Faces an easier assignment so he is likely to play a big role. ARDERN (12) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 5½f at Ipswich, beaten 3 lengths into seventh. Won't find this as tough so she will be hard to beat. DON'T DISS AROUND (7) turned in a fine effort to win by 1.3 lengths at this course and distance last start to maintain his good form of late. Nicely placed to play a pivotal role.
