THE WELLIAN (3) raced close to the lead before clearing out to score an effortless 2.5 lengths win over 7f152yards at Gold Coast Poly last time. Looks the testing material again. VANCITY (6) travelled in a rearwards position and failed to live up to expectations over 1m2f at Gold Coast Poly last time out when in the market. That followed a good second the run before. Has the class to take care of this field. REGAL EDITION (2) is building towards a win with placings at his last two runs, the latest effort a second over 1m at this track when beaten 2.75 lengths. Hard to fault of late.
