THE PUNISHER (12) settled well back when 4.5 lengths from the winner in sixth over 6f at Doomben last start, a less impressive effort than his when resuming fifth at this track the run before. Beautifully placed and is sure to prove tough to beat. TOBA (17) progressed nicely last time out when he did his best work late to finish just half a length from the winner in second over 7f at Gatton. Has his share of ability. Hard to beat in this suitable race. SUPER DUCK (5) hasn't been far away lately, beaten 1.75 lengths at his most recent outing when fourth over 6¾f at Doomben. Reunites with Rob Thorburn which is a proven winning combination. Sure to be competitive. GALWAY HUSSLER (9) was in the money two starts back at Kilcoy but was unable to repeat the effort last time when ninth, beaten 7 lengths, at Ipswich over 6¾f. Open to improvement and should be about the money.
