SMILING ZAC (7) gets a change of rider and has been freshened up since finishing eighth over 5½f at Gatton last start. Key runner on his best efforts. MASTER MAURICE (1) is a promising four-year-old gelding who returned from a break last start and finished a long neck away in third over 5f at this track. Bright prospects. AIRSTRIKE (11) doesn't win out of turn, scoring just three times from 33 starts. Again tasted defeat last start when eighth over 5¼f at Gold Coast Poly, beaten 6 lengths. Has the class to take this out. VOULAIT (4) was unwanted in betting when resuming last start but performed beyond expectations when beaten a nose into second over 4f at Ipswich. Has a high cruising speed. One of the better hopes.
