SUNFYRE (10) showed early speed from a good draw last start then battled on well for second, beaten 1.5 lengths, over 5f at Goondiwindi. This looks a sterner test than last time but on her best form she is one of the key runners. BEANS MEANS (1) closed last campaign with back-to-back placings, the last of which was at Ipswich two-and-a-half years ago. A bold showing is anticipated. DUN WITH ROSES (4) was in the firing line on the bend and ran a better race last start to finish a close second over 5f at this track after missing the placings at the previous appearance. Looks well placed so expect another big run. MEASURED (6) is resuming from a lay-off of 11 weeks and having her first run for the John Thomas yard. Was in the placings when when resuming from a lay-off last campaign at Sale over 6f.
