Could only manage to finish eighth last time out over 5½f at this track (Dirt) following a minor placing at this track (Dirt) over 6f the run prior. Well placed this line-up and might be his day. MR RIFFLE (7) was out of the money on debut two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 5½f at Belterra Park, beaten 1.3 lengths into fourth after being in contention on the turn. This looks a sterner test than last time but on his best form he is right in contention. PONCHO JAC (1) ran well on debut last start to finish third over 5½f at this track (Dirt) in a tougher race. Will benefit from that experience so he can feature again. BEAT THE BUZZER (3) turned in a moderate debut over 5f at this track (Dirt) on August 5 when he was safely held in pulled up, 99 lengths from the winner. Open to plenty of improvement. Expected to do more.
