FAIR AND SQUARE (6) followed an unplaced effort when resuming two runs back with a second last start over 1m at this track after being in contention on the turn. Worth noting Rocco Bowen goes aboard. Nicely placed to play a pivotal role. TATANKA (7) was in the firing line all the way and fought on for second last start over 1m at Belterra Park (Dirt), making it three minor placings in a row. Generally takes a sit but the draw makes it tricky. It doesn't get any easier but on his best form he is one of the chief contenders. TANTRUM (4) hit the frame in a on dirt then missed the placings on turf last time in a Listed Race at Belterra Park over 1m1/2f, beaten 20 lengths. Has a solid record here at the distance with three wins and four placings from 10 tries. One of the major players. CARILLO (2) resumed last start over 1m at this track (Dirt) and showed little early speed, settling well back but hitting the line hard to finish third, beaten 2.25 lengths. Has won five races at this course and distance from 11 tries. Has to be respected.
