ROWDY DAISY (3) finished fifth when resuming two runs back then did a good job last start but found one better over 5½f at this track, beaten only one length after being in contention on the turn. Looks well placed so expect another big run. TRITONE GAL (1) is returning from a lay-off of a year. Scored at Charles Town (Dirt) over 6½f at the first run last prep. Now with a new trainer Valerie K Shanyfelt. Worth serious consideration. GIRL BYE (2) recorded another minor placing last time out, finishing 2.75 lengths away in third over 6f at this track (Dirt) when she was always up in the leading division. Finds a suitable assignment and can take the next step and salute. LILAC LACE (7) was unplaced two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 5½f at Mountaineer Park, beaten 1.75 lengths into fifth. Well placed and can figure in the finish this time.
