VESPER MARTINI (5) started favourite at the last run before a break but could only manage win in stakes class at Lone Star Park (Dirt). Taking on a longer trip to kick off this prep. Sure to go very well. RED SEVEN (4) returns after three-and-a-half months in the paddock. Closed the last campaign with a seventh over 5½f at Sam Houston Park (Dirt). Good chance to break through. SMARTASSET (1) was beaten 10 lengths into second at Mahoning Valley two starts ago then finished 19 lengths from the winner in fourth last time at Mahoning Valley (Dirt). Finds a nice race and can measure up. KELLEY JEAN (6) was in contention on the turn and finished second last start over 6f at Mahoning Valley (Dirt), beaten 10 lengths. Finds a tougher race but she has the talent to test this line-up.
