SAN FERNANDO CREEK (6) was below his best last time, finishing seventh and beaten 3 lengths over 2f at this track (Dirt). It doesn't get any easier but on his best form he is capable of a big performance. VALIANT POLITICIAN (5) held on well to finish second last time out over 1f180yards at this track (Dirt) after leading for much of the way. Expected to be in this for a long way. HOTT FAVORITE (4) is back from a break of four-and-a-half months. Only raced once last campaign which was a narrow defeat over 1f180yards at Sunland Park (Dirt). Lining up. For the first time for trainer Marc Anthony Ramirez. Among the better hopes. BLAZE OF GOLD (8) is a three-year-old gelding who is having his first run for the Angel E Dominguez stable. Finished off last campaign with a fourth at Remington Park (Dirt) 11 weeks ago. Hasn't trialled publicly but is in a nice race. Has to be respected.
