EL VITAL (2) was a dominant winner last time at this track (Dirt) over the same distance. Has good early toe so he should be handy in the run. Sure to be in the finish. BOAZ THE OVERCOMER (10) is usually thereabouts but finds it hard to win, with just three wins from 30 starts. Again tasted defeat last start when fourth over 3f213yards at this track, beaten 4. 5 lengths. Finds the right race this time and can take this out. MR JESS EFFORT (7) resumes from a lay-off of seven months. Has filled a minor placing at each of his three when resuming runs. Opened last prep with a third over 1f180yards at this track. Expected to run well. RIG COUNTESS (1) is back from a lay-off of five months. Raced once last campaign and finished third over 3f213yards at Ruidoso Downs (Dirt). Drawn to stalk the leaders. Deserves respect on best figures.
