Launched last prep with a minor placing at Ruidoso Downs over 1f130yards. Has ability and sure to prove tough to beat. VALIANT POLITICIAN (10) is back after a break of three-and-a-half months. Went close to a maiden win before the layoff, finishing second at his latest appearance over 1f180yards at Ruidoso Downs (Dirt). Good effort to open last prep when in the money at Ruidoso Downs over 1f130yards. Has ability and is a solid chance. LOVING MY KASH (7) was solid on debut last start when beaten 1.5 lengths into fourth over 1f31yards at Retama Park (Dirt) on August 6. Has upside and can measure up. MY FAVORITE SPIRIT (9) didn't make an impact at his last run before going for a lay-off on 1/12/2024, finishing eighth and beaten 3 lengths over 1½f at Zia Park (Dirt). Worth plenty of thought.
