MAKE UP A STORY (3) closed last prep with a disappointing fifth over 6f at Sunland Park (Dirt). Back for a new campaign with a change of rider. Rates highly on best figures so a bright return will not surprise. MARK IT DOWN (6) returns from a layoff of eight months. Worth noting she filled a minor placing when returning from a lay-off last time in work over 5f at this track. Strong chance to kick the campaign off on the right note. MARK THE WINNER (8) comes here off a break of nine months. Worth noting she filled a minor placing when returning from a lay-off last time in work over 6½f at this track. Has recorded two wins when when resuming from a break. Among the better hopes. LA JOLLA BEACH (5) returns from a lay-off of four-and-a-half months and is having her first run for a new yard. Finished sixth at Zia Park (Dirt) over 5½f when when resuming last time in work.
