CAPRICORNUS (1) finished just a long neck from the winner in second when returning from a layoff last start over 5½f at Mackay after racing on the speed. Will enjoy a drop in class so he is a major player. SAY IT LOUD (7) turned in a nice run when fresh from a lay-off two starts back at Rockhampton then missed the placings last time when 4. 5 lengths from the winner in seventh over 6f at Rockhampton. Can bounce back to her best form. LUNA READY (12) lined up for start 11 last time and after sitting on the pace she tired to finish sixth over 6½f at Mackay, beaten 6 lengths. Well placed in this line-up and is among the better chances. DANCING TROFFEA (10) finished fifth two runs back then improved last start but found a couple better over 6½f at Augathella, beaten 4. 5 lengths. Nicely placed to play a pivotal role.
