ASAWIN (4) has been in good form, scoring three back at Ararat then placing twice in a row, most recently finishing second when he was handy all the way over 7f at Ballarat. Tackling a deeper field this time but he is worth serious consideration. GEFFINA (8) lines up for the hat-trick after registering a strong win last time over 7f at this track, scoring by 0.8 lengths. Should measure up again. ARIZONA ACTIVIST (1) finished 3 lengths behind the winner in sixth over 6½f at Sandown-Hillside last start after lifting strongly to score two runs back. Faces a far less daunting assignment this time. Don't underestimate.
