SMART JAZZ (1) resumes in a similar race to his only run last prep back on April 9 when tenth, beaten 6 lengths. Has ability and should be right in the finish. EPHEMERAL (8) accounted for a maiden field over 6f at Tamworth last start when fresh from a break. Sparingly raced and has more to offer. Tougher assignment this time but is one of the main contenders. HIT SONG (6) turned in a nice effort to score two runs ago but was less impressive last time out when fourth over 6f at Moree, beaten 3. 5 lengths. Finds a suitable race and can figure prominently.
