TALANA (2) registered a strong win at Port Macquarie two runs ago. Decent effort last time out when in the firing line on the corner before finishing fourth over 1m at this track, beaten 0. 6 lengths. Suitably placed so anticipating a better run this time. OFF THE SCALE (1) did a great job to score by a nose over this course and distance last start in a much improved run. Nicely placed to play a pivotal role. KEN'KER (7) missed the placings two runs back then was always well out of his ground last start when 8 lengths away in sixth over 7½f at Port Macquarie. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot find winning ways. OAKFIELD PEEWEE (5) doesn't win very often but ran a nice race last time out over 1m at this track, finishing second and beaten a nose. Well placed and should be about the mark.
