BULLANT (13) is a three-start maiden who is close to a win following two recent minor placings, the latest when third over 5f at Tamworth. Finds a nice assignment and this might be her day. BABY RYAN (1) faded last time to finish fourth over 6½f at Wyong after showing good early speed. Sure to prove tough to rein in. GOLD MELODY (11) is back from a break of four-and-a-half months. Raced twice in her maiden campaign and wasn't far away on either occasion including the last run when second over 6¼f at this track. Should take a lot from that first campaign and should be in the finish. ENZONI (4) was out of the money on debut two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 5f at Port Macquarie, beaten 3.5 lengths into fourth after being in contention on the turn. Goes up a rung or two but he is capable of playing a big role.
