TAKING THE MIKKI (9) was in contention on the bend and ran a better race last start to finish a close third over 6f at Scone after missing the placings at the previous appearance. Looks well placed so expect another big run. GOBBLED (2) was safely held when tenth last time out over 7f at Casino, beaten 6 lengths after being in contention on the corner. That followed a win at Lismore at the previous outing. Finds an easier assignment and can get the job done. Lay-off. Well placed and can figure in the finish this time.
