THE SIMPLE LIFE (9) did her best work late and finished 9 lengths from the winner in fifth last start over 6f67yards at this track, an improvement on her ninth at Cranbourne the run before. Best figures measure up nicely. Sure to run well. NAY PEE CEE (1) was handy on straightening and went on to finish second last start over 6¼f at Kempsey, beaten 0.8 lengths when resuming. Nicely placed to feature in the finish. FRISKEE FROG (2) was in the money at Grafton when resuming two runs back then could only manage fifth at Newcastle over 7f two-and-a-half weeks ago. Should be camped just off the leaders. Solid top-three chance. DURUSEHVAR (6) was never in contention last time over 7f at Newcastle when she finished ninth, beaten 8 lengths. No surprise if she figured in the finish.
