OAKFIELD PEEWEE (1) missed the placings two runs back then did well last start but found a couple better over 7f at Wellington, beaten only one length after being in the firing line on the bend. This doesn't look as hard so he is a major player. OAKFIELD HAWK (2) was out of the money when resuming from a lay-off last start over 6¾f at Wyong, beaten 5.5 lengths. Strips fitter and can take this out. VIA VARALLO (6) settled well back last start and never threatened when 13 lengths from the winner in 11th over 7f at Hawkesbury. Faces an easier assignment so he is set to turn things around. OBVIOUSLY ALBERT (3) was in the money at this track when resuming two runs back then could only manage fourth at Tuncurry over 1m a week-and-a-half ago. Blinkers added this time. This looks a nice race for him.
